Terms of Use

Last updated: August 25, 2026

Doneday is free, provided as is, and reads your calendar without writing to it. If it stops working or loses what you crossed off, you carry that risk.

By using Doneday you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not sign in.

What the service is

Doneday displays the events of one day from your Google Calendar and lets you mark them as done. The mark is stored in your browser. Nothing is written back to your calendar and no copy of your data reaches us.

What you need

Price

Doneday is free. There is no subscription, no trial and no payment of any kind. If that ever changes, existing users will be told before it does.

No warranty

The service is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that it will be available, that it will be free of errors, or that it will keep working with future versions of Google's API, your browser or your operating system.

Your data can be lost

What you cross off is stored only in your browser. Clearing browser data, switching device, using a different browser, or your operating system reclaiming storage will erase it. There is no backup and no way for us to restore it. Do not use Doneday as a record of anything you cannot afford to lose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage arising from use of Doneday, including missed appointments, lost progress or lost data. Doneday shows you your calendar; it is not a reminder service and sends no notifications. Your calendar remains the authoritative record.

Acceptable use

Ending it

You can stop at any time by revoking access at myaccount.google.com/permissions and clearing this site's data in your browser. We may discontinue Doneday at any time; if we do, this page will say so. Because we hold none of your data, there is nothing for us to return or delete.

Verification status

Doneday has not been verified by Google. Google therefore shows a warning screen during sign-in, and the number of people who can authorize the app is limited. This is stated up front on the sign-in screen, and it is a fact about the app's status, not about its safety.

Changes to these terms

These terms may change. The date at the top shows when they last did. Continuing to use Doneday after a change means you accept the new version.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia. Disputes fall to the competent court in Karlovac, Croatia. If you are a consumer in the EU, this does not remove protections you have under the mandatory law of your own country.
